Agar system No. 3 is the first and only control system for the emulsion layer, which is based on concentration measurements. The system includes from two to four microwave Agar sensors. Three of them are installed on an electric dehydrogenator, and one on the oil supply line. The sensors are equipped with a 4-20 mA output signal proportional to the water concentration at the measuring point.
